Happy one year work anniversary to me!! A year ago today I started here at the dealership. I can't believe how fast it has gone!
I have been kept busy with new car photos and videos, trying to get the percentages up to 90%. So far so good.. we are definitely getting there. As this is more of a priority for me now I have been getting more involved with the whole process of advertising the stock; from identifying the car, locating it, more often than not going to the compound to get it, and arranging it to be valeted, the whole process is definitely longer than what I first thought it was. It's nice to get involved and help out though, and if it ultimately gets the job done quicker, I'm happy!
My apprenticeship work is coming together as the deadline looms closer! It can occasionally be a challenge to balance the two, but for the most time it works out well; I tend to have periods of downtime during the week when I can get going with some reports.
I am looking forward to spending a day at head office later in the week, where we will be going through different popular marketing techniques like SEO, PPC and email marketing. I've always been really keen to find out more on these and broaden my knowledge of marketing further to what I do here in the dealership, so this will be a great opportunity!
