Catch up

Hi guys

Another couple of weeks down! Fairly busy as we are currently in the midst of our September VIP Event. This has allowed me good opportunities for social posts and there has been lots of interactions with what I have been posting lately. I enjoy the socials aspect of VIP and the potential for posting stories. I have recently started running a few polls on instagram stories which are usually well received and allow more scope for interactions.

The issue with VIP however is it can sometimes be a bit repetitive. So I try not to over post, and this is where stories really come in useful as they are only temporary and only seen for a few seconds.

We have also had some really great new cars come in, including the incredible newly launched SQ8 - this has gone down really well organically on socials:

It makes it really easy to get great content when we have cool new cars like this!  Luckily we have had a few really good ones lately.

Other than social media I have been busy with the videos and work on Autotrader. We seem to be quite consistently at the top of the Autotrader rankings lately so that's really good and my managers seem quite pleased. I enjoy working on Autotrader and helping to create the listings, organising the order of photos, etc. I recently made a post

Now the mission with used car videos continues. Aka a never ending battle!!! It is really difficult to keep on top of all of these and the list to do just seems to keep growing. But I am trying to get them done.

Aside from this there has been more planning for our charity event which is in just over two weeks time now! This has really taken a lot of organising and there has been plenty of hurdles, with contacting company's for raffle prizes, rules and restrictions on what we can post, etc etc. Hopefully it will all come together successfully and we have already made a really good amount of money through donations and raffle ticket sales. (thanks EM! ;))

Things definitely seem to be coming together a little better, we now have posts going out across Swansway Social media as well as on Swanscom, etc. The word is spreading so hopefully we get lots of people getting involved :)

The event itself will be a big task and I really hope it all runs smoothly! We are potentially getting a shoutout on the Cat radio, which will be great exposure, and with the local gym sponsoring the event and loaning us a couple of static bikes, we are hoping to get some posters to them pretty soon so that they can start advertising too.

We are hopeful we will raise lots of money and be able to make it a really fun and exciting event!

Next week is Escalla training week which will be a nice change. It seems like ages ago since the last one and I am looking forward to catching up with everyone and having a change of scenery.

Bye for now!
