Hi all

Back in the dealership! This week has been pretty quiet, I've managed to get on with the report which is now pretty much completed. Aside from this it's been a case of the usual photos and videos and uploading these to the website and Auto Trader.

The VIP Event is now underway so I've been getting some good content to use. That said, it is easy to overload with VIP content which is not a good thing, it can get really repetitive so I have tried not to overload with this. Which is a shame because there is a lot going on and a lot of great pictures to use! But if I were to overuse VIP content this could easily turn a few followers off and this is obviously not ideal.

I have also been getting more involved with the Aftersales team. Ryan, the aftersales manager, sat down with me and went through a few things he wants to promote. There is an offer on for financing your service cost at 0% interest that he first wanted me to push. We decided between ourselves that the best time to post this would be early - mid week, in hope that customers who are coming in for a service see it the night before and then take advantage of the offer. Ryan asked me to post this offer once a week for about the next 6 weeks. I do find pushing Aftersales content a lot more difficult than sales content.. it is difficult to get good, exciting images in the workshop - much more difficult than it is to get some nice pictures of an Audi RS3! I tried to make the images a bit cooler and edited them into black and white so they would look a little more arty and creative.

Only one week left then I am out of the business for two weeks! Firstly one week on holiday, then back to Escalla for another week. With this in mind, I have begun scheduling content for the next few weeks. As Ryan asked me to post about this offer for once a week, I felt limited with what images to use, so I went onto Canva and tried to vary them slightly with adding text and logos. I think it is a good idea to keep the images the same throughout the weeks posting the offer as it shows some consistency and they are very on brand.

I find it quite difficult to schedule posts way in advance. I feel that obviously new car content does the best so try to post these frequently. But this is hard to schedule in advance as cars could sell and then the post is invalid. I have tried to work around this by scheduling posts that are more general, still featuring new cars but keeping it more broad so that if they do sell it doesn't matter too much. I also have tried to use quite easy to get hold of cars, so that should one sell, it is still likely they will be available to order, even if the original one posted is sold.

Ryan was also keen to promote some merchandise. This week he wanted to concentrate on clothing and bags. I tried to come up with an interesting, creative image that's appealing to the eye. I wanted to have an Audi in the background (obviously)! and Ryan was keen to push it alongside VIP content, which I thought was a nice break in the proceedings!

So that's about it! Have a good weekend. I'm off to Londonnnnnn :) Hope the rain holds off!
