Well it's Friday again! This week we have had a big rejiggle of the showroom, and have had a big delivery of new cars onsite. This has meant a lot of photo taking and assisting with the videos. I am always happy to see some new cars on site as it means fresh new content for social media! My posts this week have gone down really well so I am quite pleased with this.
On Thursday, the article I had written on the Parts Department was published on the Swansway Group Careers Facebook page and the Swansway Group Linkedin page. I then decided to share it on the Crewe Audi Facebook page, as this is where the majority of our familiar customers can be found. We have had two very exciting arrivals in the showroom this week, one being the R8 Decennium, and the other being the Audi e-tron. There has only been 222 R8 Decennium's manufactured. They are a limited edition, with only 10 being brought to the UK, and we are lucky enough to have one here at Crewe Audi! Now for the bad news..For the time being we are not allowed to post photos on social media under Audi UK's strict instruction! It is a real shame as it is an amazing car. I am hoping once the car has been officially released I will be able to get some pictures online. It would make an amazing post.
In terms of the e-tron, the vehicle we have is a demo, so available to order but this specific model is not going to be on sale. As the e-tron is Audi's first electric vehicle, there is a lot of uncertainty and unanswered questions from lots of people. I have been thinking of maybe creating a video Q & A session all about the e-tron with our Product Genius Luke. I have started gathering some of the facts on the e-tron and will begin compiling them into a question and answer type framework ready to post soon. I plan to probably use Instagram to create the video, with the view to then share it on Facebook and probably Linkedin. I am trying to use Linkedin more frequently. Before starting here I didn't know much about the platform. But since setting it up, I believe it has the right sort of audience the content I am posting.
So there is a bit about my week and my plans moving forward.

I cannot believe how fast the weeks are going! I like the idea about the e-tron. We were discussing electric cars the other day as we drove past a 15 mile queue on the M6. What if you were running out of charge and were stuck on the M6 for hours?! Would you be stranded causing another massive queue?!
