Welcome back to my blog!
This week has consisted of a lot of YouTube optimisation. There were lots of cars that needed to be photographed and videoed so I got involved with that and then set about uploading them and optimising them on youtube.
Being the last week of March the site has been very busy and slightly chaotic, so it has really just been a case of getting along with my own tasks as everyone has been rushed off their feet!
Colette, Marketing Exec from Head Office had asked me to attempt an interview and write up on the Swansway Parts Depot, with the intention being to try and raise awareness for the Group's Aftersales. I went to propose the idea to the parts department, and they decided they didn't want to be involved. After this, I decided not to scrap the idea completely, but instead planned the feature to be on the parts division here at Crewe Audi. After approaching them, they were happy to be involved, so I set about arranging some interview questions and planning what I wanted to get out of the article.
Next, I arranged with the team a time to come and interview them and take a few pictures. I went along and there was 2 out of who were interested in doing it - well better than none at least!! So, I interviewed them, then took some images. I tried to make use of different backgrounds and settings, however this was fairly difficult as the parts department is not the most attractive looking place! We took some in the showroom and next to some accessories displays to hopefully draw some interest to these.
I have completed a draft of the piece, so stay tuned to see it published!
I am hoping that soon I may be able to get more involved with looking into my social media analytics as I feel I have not done much of this up to now. I think it will be useful to see this sort of information laid out clearly in a bar chart or something. Perhaps I will look into this and figure out the best way to do it.
Have a good weekend :)
Hi Soph - I hear you had a little chat with Mr Smyth this week about all of the exciting things you have been doing! How did it go?
ReplyDeleteHi Emma, how did you hear about that!? :)
DeleteIt was good & nice to finally meet him! He was just asking what I have been doing, plans for the future, etc. He seemed pleased with how it is all going so far!
