This week was a fairly busy one!
I have been completing a few different tasks alongside the usual. This week I drove my first Audi! Luckily just around the car park... I was very apprehensive at first but now realise automatics aren't that bad. We had over 20 used car videos to complete in one day, so that was a very busy day. Luckily it was when the sun was shining so couldn't complain at the fact of being out in the sun nearly all day! Uploading all these videos to YouTube took a long time! I then uploaded them to Autotrader and to the website via net director.
Aside from this, I was tasked to update lots of new car stock descriptions on Autotrader. All of the additional info like vehicle colour, driving system, year of manufacture, etc, needs to be inputted manually. The sales managers are often so busy, they overlook details like this, but it does make a difference in how the vehicle shows up in searches; hence why I am here to fill in the gaps! This was quite a time consuming task as it involves going into the vehicle descriptions individually, updating the details, then returning to the list of new cars, where you lose your place every time.. But hopefully it will make an improvement to Crewe Audi's visibility on the platform, I will continue to update this as more new cars come into stock.
On top of this we had several new cars arrive so there was a photo and video session for these. We had a few really exciting arrivals last week, 2 RS3's, 1 RS6 and a launch edition E-tron - all £80,000 worth!!! This meant I could create some good social posts, this one performed really well..
For the RS6 post I decided to take it to a different location to get some more unique and special images, for a change and to break up the feed:
So with some exciting cars arriving and a little change of scenery, this weeks social content has gone down really well.
Finally, I have spent time working on the e-newsletter. This has been quite difficult! After what I had initially planned, I spoke to the relevant people in the relevant departments and everyone seemed keen to be involved. However no one was getting back to me with the full information I'd asked for, which was a real pain. In the end I ended up mentioning this to the head of business; he got in touch with the managers and asked them to all get back to me within the day, which finally worked! So now I have a few bits of content to work with for the newsletter. I have a service offer, sales offer, and some accessories to advertise. I am also planning to include a bit on the VIP event that we have coming up in a few weeks, as well as a 'meet the team' piece on a service advisor.
That's about all for now. Next Wednesday I am heading over to Marketing to look at putting the newsletter together and familiarising myself with the system we're going to be using. Hopefully it all comes together successfully!

I love that car at Crewe Hall! What an amazing colour! That one has to win the photo competition surely!?
