2nd week...

I'm now coming to the end of my second week on the job.  Again this week it has mainly been a case of finding my feet and familiarising myself with the role, products, and brainstorming ideas.

I have continued to post across social media, and having studied the analytics, so far so good! This week  I had a meeting with David, the Marketing Manager at Swansway Head Office. He went through some data, comparing post reach/engagement levels from my first week on the job to the week prior to me starting:

Crewe Audi Facebook

Reach    Engagements

2965       14 (21 – 27 Jan)

7849       121 (4 -11 Feb)

Crewe Audi Twitter

Reach    Engagements

13962    5 (21 – 27 Jan)

86988    20 (4 – 11 Feb)

I am really pleased with these figures, particularly to see that the Twitter Reach was increased by over 70,000! This was largely due to one post being retweeted by AutoTrader. This has really emphasised to me that interacting and building relationships with different sites within the same industry is absolutely essential to reaching a larger market and this is something I will endeavour to continue doing moving forward. Overall there are more engagements with my content, more link clicks and calls to action. I hope to continue the growth of the social accounts and ultimately aim to translate these views and engagements into real life customers.

Aside from my work across social media I have been working through my LEAP training and Google Digital Garage. I am still enjoying the photography side of my role and have received some great feedback on my images. I have been researching tips on how to grow a business's following, and how digital marketing can really have an impact on a business. I have also been looking into the analytics that can be found in Crowd Control. I have complied some of this data into a bar chart, as I believe it is essential to recognise who our target audience, so to respond to it accordingly.

Stay tuned for more!

  1. WOW Sophie! Those reach and engagement figures are amazing! I spotted your reflection in the 4 rings of a bright red Audi this week. The photos are brilliant! They made it look all sparkly :-)

    1. Thanks Emma, yes that's the only bad side to all these shiny cars, trying to stay out of the reflection!
